About the school

At Wells, our vision for young people is that all students are critically thinking, creative, empathetic change-makers who commit to their own growth and development within their local community and our global society. To achieve that vision, we work to prepare young people for success after high school by placing equal value on high-quality, rigorous education and social-emotional wellness. As a fine arts academy, we recognize that centering student voice and creativity drives excellence and therefore we elevate the arts and arts-based initiatives in our teaching and learning. Each day, Wells students also seek to display the characteristics of our R.I.S.E. principles: Respect, Integrity, Self-Expression, and Engagement.
